I Gotta Brand New Pair Of Roller Skates....U ?....

About me: Before retiring I worked as a Counselor/Advocate for the elderly at Area Agency On Aging in Texas. My work history includes being a nurse, teacher, counselor, life coach and advocate for many health/non-profit and Mental Health/Mental Retardation Facilities. Although I retired last month, I still do my Life Coaching, Spiritual Counseling and volunteer work with the elderly and needy. I have many varied interests, at the moment my main interest and project is researching Native American Culture and Medicine. Among my other interests are designing and making dream catchers/mandellas and beaded jewelry. In an attempt to keep my creative side flowing I also try painting, crafts, crochet, gardening and simple home projects. For pleasure I enjoy walking in the woods, nature, lakes, rivers, fishing, zoo's, people watching, antiques stores, visiting old towns and old places, artifacts, art work, dining out at restaurants with good atmospheres and multiple forks.....:) Games: both on the internet ( a game at boxerjam called Strike a Match being my favorite) Scrabble and just about all board and card games. I am also in the process of writing a book and write poetry.I also have been a musician;singer,piano, organ, clarinet, sax and keyboard. I begin my day at sunrise in meditation and Prayer. The things that surround me and bring me the most joy each day include Spike (my little life companion for seven years) a precious 8lb white chihuahua, my birds "Boots and Baby" and my Family. My day ends at sunset with me sitting on the front porch rocking, enjoying the sunset. I'm divorced and have been single now for 7 years. Living alone these last years has allowed me to really learn, appreciate and love the person I am. I am compassionate, caring, nurturing, slow to anger and a fun person to be with.
