I'm generally a very shy and low-key person, which is why I've avoided online dating in the past. First impressions can be very difficult for me but once I warm up I can be a lot of fun...and if you really get to know me, I think we will be very close. I love music--particularly progressive rock, metal and alt. rock, as well as some classic rock and folk/singer-songwriter music--and the arts, and am always on the lookout for cool new stuff to get into, particularly if it's somewhat below the radar. I'm also a freelance writer/journalist and have been trying for years to go full time, though I currently work for a bank.
