Honesty is Always the best Policy

I am shy. Giggles. I am a great listener, and warm up after I know the person better. I am honest, faithful, dependable, fun loving, romantic and looking for friendship that would maybe develope from there. I think that friendship is the best foundation to build a relationship on. I work hard at my job and enjoy it. No one thinks I am shy that knows me, but with guys I am. I was married for 17 yrs. So dating again is not as easy as I thought it would be. Its a different world nowadays. I enjoy the simple things in life, a delicious cup of coffee makes me happy. I am no materialistic and don't mind getting my hands dirty in gardening, checking the oil, changing a flat tire etc. I am pretty independant and self suffient. I am quiet in a crowd of people unless I know them. I love taking care of my home and take pride in it. I am raising three teenage boys, 21, 18 and 16. With kids, I mean what I say and say what I mean. It has made my kids who they are today. (a lil pat on the shoulder for me) I am family orienated, and cherish my friends. I have two dogs, a black lab, Zoey and a pekinese Cuddles. I do smoke but am trying to quit this stinky habit. Its probably the hardest thing I have ever done and yet not succeded in. I have waist lengh hair which is usually what men seem to be attracted to at first. My ex. once said he married me for my butt. :) Thats still there! I am into wood crafting, jewelry making,painting and ceramics. I enjoy reading and shopping. My favorite smell is a carnation flower. I love to cook for my man and plan romantic things. I am pretty straightforward and would hope for the same in return. Looking forward to empty-nesting and hoping to find a man who is kind, sincere, honest and affectionate. Interested?
